Sauce Labs has announced a new partnership with Mozilla to educate front-end developers on the importance of cross-browser testing. By launching the new Cross-Browser Testing Tutorial, Sauce Labs and Mozilla are working to help fulfill the promise of a healthy web, where anyone can access content using any browser on any device.
The Cross-Browser Testing Tutorial is intended to give developers a testing platform and resources to help them learn cross-browser testing and add automated testing to their toolkit. Developers who complete the tutorial will be able to identify and debug issues rendered in different browsers before releasing to users — ensuring that the website will work for all who access it. “We are focused on making the web a place where everyone can freely access and contribute content regardless of what browser, platform and devices they use. We are always looking for ways to help developers deliver experiences that reach everyone,” said Nick Nguyen, vice president of product, Firefox. “We champion the importance of cross-browser compatibility and we are excited to work with Sauce Labs to deliver an easy way for web developers to test their code in hundreds of browser and platform combinations.”
Enrollment for the Cross-Browser Testing Boot Camp is open now, via a free no-commitment 30-day trial. To learn more and register go to: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/developer/browsertest/
