22 May 2012 No Comment

James Shore is famous for the excellent “Let’s Play TDD” screencast series where he produces videos about the development of a real software projects using Java, test-driven development and evolutionary design. He is currently planning to repeat the same type of journey but this time he will focus on the browser and Javascript.

The series should use test-driven development but also techniques such as build automation, continuous integration, refactoring and evolutionary design. The application will support multiple browsers and platforms, including iOS, and to use Node.js on the server. The application itself will be a real-time multi-user drawing application, developed from scratch and taken as far as possible in the time available. James Shore is currently looking for support to fund this series.
