Nouvola, a vendor of in cloud-based performance testing and load testing, has announced integration with AWS CodePipeline, enabling developers using AWS CodePipeline to now include Nouvola tests in their continuous delivery pipelines so issues are caught earlier and code is tested against real-world traffic scenarios before it’s released to production.
AWS CodePipeline is a continuous integration and continuous delivery service for fast and reliable application and infrastructure updates. AWS CodePipeline builds, tests, and deploys your code every time there is a code change, based on the release process models the team defines.
Web and mobile applications have different bottlenecks in different scenarios. Raw traffic load is one parameter, but mobile vs. web, geographic location and user behaviors all impact services in unique ways, especially when they are stacked on top of each other over time. By including performance and load tests in the continuous testing and delivery process, development teams can see real world behaviors and identify issues before the code is pushed live, so they can deploy with confidence, with accelerated testing cycles and less risk of rollbacks.
“No matter who you are, consumers today expect you to deliver the same high performance and reliability they see from the Internet giants,” says Paola Moretto, co-founder and CEO of Nouvola. “Continuous testing is absolutely essential to achieve agility and fast release cycles, and we’re proud to that our vision of real-world ready automated performance testing is now available on AWS CodePipeline.”
