Global digitalization and IoT expert Bosch.IO has selected MachNation MIT-E Pf to support IoT solution performance testing of the Bosch IoT Suite, the open-source-based Bosch software platform for IoT solutions. MachNation MIT-E Pf — a flexible, cost-effective, and IoT-centric product for performance testing — was used to independently verify the performance and reliability of IoT solutions created on the Bosch IoT Suite.
The relationship builds on a longstanding partnership between the companies, which includes IoT capability and usability benchmarking in MachNation’s IoT platform test lab and participation at the Bosch ConnectedWorld conference.
Dr. Stefan Ferber, Co-CEO & CTO at Bosch.IO, says: “As a leading global supplier of technology and services, Bosch is proud to provide innovative and reliable connected products. IoT performance and scalability testing is one way how we ensure the quality of our software. The Bosch IoT Suite connects more than 15 million things. We chose MachNation MIT-E Pf because of their excellent market knowledge and the introduction of an innovative testing product in the IoT space. MIT-E Pf and the Bosch IoT Suite for Asset Communication showed their capabilities in the recent load and performance test. We successfully connected 1.5 Mio devices simultaneously and performed up to 10,000 digital twin updates per second.”
Steve Hilton, President of MachNation, says, “We are proud to have earned Bosch.IO’s trust to assist with IoT solution performance testing and expand our existing relationship. With our extremely detailed, flexible, and scalable service, we hope to help Bosch.IO further prove commitment to its customers with independently tested, high-performing software.” MachNation is exclusively dedicated to testing and benchmarking Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, middleware, and services.
